Volunteer dentistry legislation sealed into law

LANSING – Gov. Rick Snyder has sealed a check into law that
protects late dentists who proffer their services from
frivolous lawsuits.

House Bill 4389, sponsored by state Rep. Jim Stamas, R-Midland,
ensures late dentists who wish to assistance their village might do so
without fear of being sued, as prolonged as a dentist possesses a
voluntary permit released by a Bureau of Health Professionals and
services are offering for free. Similar protections are already
extended to late physicians and podiatrists.
