Barclays ex-CEO avoids implicating UK authorities

LONDON (AP) – The former trainer of Barclays, who mislaid his pursuit over a financial market-fixing scandal, pronounced Wednesday that a Bank of England central had not speedy him to news fake information during a tallness of a credit break in 2008.

Bob Diamond, who quiescent as arch executive a day earlier, was grilled by a parliamentary cabinet about his review with Paul Tucker, emissary administrator of a Bank of England, on Oct. 29, 2008.
