Mobile Dentistry Program Serves 20,000th Patient

PIERRE, SD –

A mobile dentistry module has served a 20,000th patient.

Dakota Smiles uses dual fully-equipped vehicles crisscrossing a state to perform medicine and physic work along with verbal health education.

The module given a pregnancy has finished some-more than $9 million in dental work for kids in 73 communities.

Delta Dental of South Dakota boss CEO Scott Jones had listened about mobile medical units behind in 2004 by his impasse with Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Dakota. He knew a mobile dental section was what a state needed.
