Oklahoma: Dental hospital inspections not necessary

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma group that indicted a Tulsa verbal surgeon of unwholesome practices, putting thousands of people during risk for hepatitis and HIV, says it’s never indispensable to check medical offices regularly.

“This doesn’t happen,” Susan Rogers, a executive executive of a Oklahoma Board of Dentistry, pronounced Friday. “There’s not been a need for these inspections since we’ve never had a censure like this.”

That’s not unusual. Some other states don’t customarily check clinics, either, observant they don’t have a income and such incidents are so singular that a need only isn’t there.
