Dental bureau searched, underneath review for Medicaid fraud

NEW BRITAIN — Federal agents searched a city dental bureau Thursday as partial of an review into a $20 million Medicaid rascal intrigue that led to a detain of dual group on sovereign charges.

Gary Anusavice, with several aliases, 59, of North Kingstown, R.I., who was barred from billing Medicaid and other sovereign health programs in 1998, and dentist Mehran Zamani, 47, of Pound Ridge, N.Y., are indicted of defrauding a Medicaid module of some-more than $20 million over a two-year period, according to justice papers.
