Dentistry doesn’t have to be a luxury anymore, as 80 lucky residents in Bradford, Ontario lacking dental insurance will receive free dental work all day!

Bradford, Ontario (PRWEB) May 08, 2012

On June 1st, 2012 Dr. Jesse Chai, a Bradford Dentist, will be hosting Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) a whole day of FREE dental care for local residents. Last year this free service was offered to over 80 residents who were in need and would not be able to financially receive dental care.

The second annual Dentistry for the Heart in Bradford will no doubt bring out more people this year. Last year patients began lining up as early as 4 am to be one of the first eighty patients to receive free dental care. Dr. Jesse Chai will be offering free extractions, filings and cleanings. Bradford Family Dentistry hopes that their 2nd annual Dentistry from the Heart will continue to give back to the community and provide some much needed dental assistance.

Dentistry from the Heart is an organization started in New Port Richey, Florida. Dr.Vincent Monticciolo, founder of DFTH, recognized a need in the community as many people were without dental insurance. Eleven years ago, in 2001, he opened his doors and offered one day of free dental care. A second event joined and Dentistry From the Heart was formed. DFTH quickly grew to having events nationwide as 250+ host locations joined. In 2007 DFTH became a registered non-profit organization and today has provided over $3 million in dentistry. The impact on communities across North America has been beneficial to improving the oral health of many who could otherwise not afford it.

“What better way at giving back then doing what we are good at.” said Dr. Jesse Chai.

“By providing excellent dental care we can help to improve people’s lives and health.”

This desire and vision to give back to the community has fueled the 2nd annual Dentistry From the Heart in Bradford, Ontario, which will occur on June 1st, 2012. Through the help of sponsor and many volunteers they hope to assist 80 people and renew their smile.

Dentistry From the Heart will be hosted at Bradford Family Dentistry located at 76 Holland Street West, Suite 203, Bradford, Ontario, Canada, L3Z 2B2, starting at 8:00am through to 6:00pm. Media and volunteers are encouraged to come out and support Dentistry for the Heart, giving free, healthy smiles to Bradford residents.
