pressreporter@thefranklinpress.com

Macon County Public Health Center has hired Dr. Bruno Kaldre as a full-time dentist at the adult dental health clinic. The clinic has been without a full-time dentist since July and had been contracting services piecemeal with several different dentists. The clinic serves the working poor and uninsured.

Kaldre began seeing patients on Feb. 15.

Before moving to Macon County, Kaldre practiced general dentistry for more than 13 years in the Charlotte area. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Dentistry.
